I’m Sal — a World Language teacher, history enthusiast and someone who believes that food is one of the most powerful gateways to culture.  I didn’t grow up with a family that spoke Italian or passed on cooking traditions.  When I had my own son I decided to make it my mission to resurrect the traditions that my ancestors left behind when they came to America.
